               ARE YOU UNWELCOME?

Hello everybody,

Are you still OK? Are you still fighting the good fight?

Stand firm and don't give up! The enemy wants to throw you out everywhere you 
go... at home, at the office, at your church... he wants to make you feel so 
bad that you decide not to go back to that place again...

But let me give you a little secret. It is a little verse that has proven to be 
a strong weapon in times of rejection and persecution:

"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, DO IT ALL IN THE NAME OF THE 
LORD JESUS, giving thanks to God the Father through him." (Colossians 3:17)

That is the secret: DO IT ALL IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS!

Are you unwelcome in your own home? Just be there and stay there IN THE NAME OF 
THE LORD JESUS. No need to say anything. No need to "prove" yourself worthy. 
Does some family member attack you verbally? Think before you answer. Don't 
shout back. Keep silent. Forgive them the offense. They don't know what they 
are doing, really. Fight any feeling of depression that may want to invade you 
because of what happened. Maybe they even tell you straight away that you'd 
better go and not come back. Maybe they threaten you. Take some time apart, put 
yourself on your knees, ask the Lord for help, go on doing the good things 
only, go on doing the tasks that are yours at home as if nothing had happened. 
STAY IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS. You are in a fight, a direct attack towards 
you, trying to drive you away from your home and your family. Stand firm. Let 
them say what they want. Just stay where you are.

Are you unwelcome at the office? Are they ignoring you? Are you not invited at 
important meetings? Don't they assign work to you? Or too much? Don't you 
receive the necessary guidance to do your job well? Are they attacking you 
verbally or threatening you? The same advice here again. You must go to your 
work place every day IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS. Get up early on working 
days, present yourself before the Lord ON YOUR KNEES, greet him, ask him for 
help for the day, ask him to give you the victory for the day. Then prepare 
yourself and go to your working place. Just go and be there the hours that you 
must be there. Talk to the Lord in thoughts the entire day. Ask him for help 
and guidance continuously. Don't be afraid, said Jesus. Whatever happens, stay 
and stand firm. No need to say much, just do what you have to do. But don't 
walk away in anger. Don't react furiously. Deposit any anger and all situations 
in prayer at the feet of the Lord. Don't take your own revenge, nothing at all, 
leave room for God's wrath to come over those that cause you problems.

Are you unwelcome at church or in the christian circle that you belong to? If 
you are living a holy life, if you refuse to participate in sin, and therefore 
without even opening your mouth condemn the other's walk, what else do you 
expect? Are you under attack? Are you being sidetracked? What will I say? Just 
keep going and be there IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS. Help and minister to the 
needy. Be a friend to the christians that are in real need and don't receive 
any help or friendship from the self-proclaimed leaders. Don't say anything. 
Don't try to justify yourself with words. Just be there and do what you can do 
and what your Lord puts on your mind. Pray and hand those that attack you over 
into the hands of the Lord. If you are truly a son of God, if you have truly 
stepped away from sin and are truly serving YOUR Lord, and if you are truly the 
victim of unjustice, the Lord WILL intervene and you will see HIS wrath come 
down on the evildoers. Just stay where you are, don't let the unpleasant 
moments make you decide to give up on your presence in your christian circle. 
That is what the enemy wants to achieve. But the Lord wants you to be there to 
attend continuously the small matters that he has entrusted to you. Stay where 
you are IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS and stand firm!
